Ok, so I still can't figure out why this place has such mediocre reviews. I've reviewed previously when I came in with my wife and our pups. Tonight I came by myself. I had a fantastic amber ale and amazing fried chicken sandwich. I'm one of those guys that probably wouldn't normally come here because of the three star rating. We are between houses and living nearby temporarily and I'm stoked that we discovered it!
Great time relaxing on the couch and swivel chairs watching the O-H-I-O game! Wings, pizza and smash burger were all delicious. Had great service, Pat and Sue were fantastic!!
Had a great dinner here the day hafte New Years. had the place to ourselves! WE got the food we were craving , fish n chips, burger and onion rings. They were really good! The burger patties are made by hand, special mix no doubt. NOBODY does that any more. We are going back! ~TEU
Like other reviewers have stated ad nauseam, this place has been hit or miss over the years. But my mom and I stopped by the day after Thanksgiving for a late afternoon/early evening Noah and were both pleasantly surprised and satisfied with our meals. Our server was Coral, who was quite friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered the turkey and Brie sandwich, and my mom got the smash burger; we shared the a la carte basket of fries, which were perfectly crispy and addictive. We both finished our meals, no leftovers! Of course the ambience here is lovely as usual, especially on a sunny November day. Kids and pups are always welcome, too. Would definitely come back again next time I'm in the area! If you haven't been in awhile, give it another chance :)
We always have great meal here. The fried chicken sandwich is one of my favorites. And one of my favorite bartenders/servers in town Tad is so great to see! Love when he gets to be our guy!
